Water Damage Doesn't have to be fatal!

There are basic rules you need to follow when your phone gets wet that could potentially save its life!

1. Never try to turn it on if it turns off. If it’s on, turn it off immediately!
2. Never ever ever ever plug it in! Typically this is the point where people kill their phones. Most phones survive if you don’t plug them in.
3. Rice doesn’t work! Unless you’re hungry… The best way to dry a phone is to use those little packets you find in food that say “Do Not Eat”. Those will dry out a phone in a matter of hours as supposed to rice which would take a week to do the same, and that’s if it’s minute rice and you’re really lucky.
4. Last but not least, bring it in and let us clean it for you. Doesn’t matter if you totally dry it out. The deposits left behind from whatever you got it wet with cause rust. Rust travels and needs to be stopped before it causes more damage and travels to a more vital area of the phone.
